Contractor Eligibility

To be eligible to park on campus the sponsored contracted employee must:

  • Be a contractor: defined as any non-Simmons employee who is working on the Simmons campus full time (more than 35 hours per week) as part of any contracted vendor relationship.
  • Be working on the Simmons campus for more than three months.
  • Be sponsored by an authorized Simmons representative.
  • Parking request has to be approved by the Parking Office.
  • Have a proximity Simmons ID card.

Please note:

  • Contractor's parking requests are subject to approval based on availability. Contractors may not be granted parking privileges.
  • Any Contractor, who is working less than three months, will not be granted parking privileges.
  • Parking will expire each year on June 30th and will be subject to renewal based on availability at the discretion of Simmons College.
  • If the individual is terminated by the Contractor, the site manager is required to notify the Parking Office immediately. A refund of the outstanding balance can be requested by the site manager. In addition, a transfer of parking privileges can be requested by the site manager and will be granted based on availability at the discretion of Simmons College.
